It opens your browser, where you can log in with your account. Install the application and select Free demo. There is no export quantity or duration limit. It has all the same functionality as the paid version except for exporting processed images. Opening the plugin to Topaz from Affinity no long works. Do not use Ctrl + click > Edit with > Topaz Photo AI. After processing, a JPG file is returned to Apple Photos. Click the three dot menu > Edit in Topaz Photo AI. Access it by: Opening an image in Apple Photos. The Nik Collection (DxO) also comes with standalone versions, so you could give it a try and see if that works for you.įor me all Nik Collection plugins do work without problems in Affinity Photo v1 and v2, and I don't need to use the mentioned workaround for these. There is a free trial version of Photo AI. I have recently upgraded to both Topaz AI photo AI 2.0.1 and also Affinity Photo 2.2.0. The Topaz Photo AI plug-in automatically installs into Apple Photos. I never found the reason for this though. Then I switch back to Affinity Photo while ON1 Effects is running in the background and I can successfully launch the ON1 Effects plugin from Affinity and everything is working as expected. The one feature I miss though is being able to use the Topaz Detail plugin f. I’m glad to inform you that I have successfully and delightfully moved my entire workflow from Photoshop on the Mac to AP on the Ipad pro. My workaround in that case is to start the standalone version of the program (ON1 Effects for example) besides Affinity Photo so that the main program is just running. Hello, I can’t thank you enough for the wonderful software you guys have created. When I select on of these from the menu, they just don't do anything. Also is this feature available as native in Affinity photo. Is there anyway of getting this feature to work. I am having this problem with ON1 plugins (in Affinity Photo 1 and 2 as well). I recently loaded all my topaz plugins into Affinity photo as I would my PPhotoshop plugins and surprisingly they all work except for Gigapixel & the gigapixel portion of topaz photo AI. Because of that I developed a habit to not rely on the central plugin folder but specify the plugin path explicitly for each of the „problematic“ plugins (see screenshot).Īs far as plugins „just doing nothing“ are concerned: Some of these problems were related to „wrong“ versions of plugin files lurking in the plugin folder. I also experienced some crashing or „just not working“ plugins with Affinity. Topaz tries and I get a message that eror with plugins and then tries to open but crashes Affinity 2
